In this second Theology on Tap in St. Petersburg, Fr. David Toups, pastor of Christ the King in Tampa, talks about living our faith in the world – evangelizing the world through our actions.  He says this is the vocation of the laity, to work for God to spread His good news to the world.

In this inaugural Theology on Tap in St. Petersburg, Abby from SpiritFM 90.5 and host of The Big Big House Morning Show talks about Faith in the Workplace.  Drawing on her experiences working in secular positions and at SpiritFM, Abby illustrates how we can live our faith in our workplaces whether we work in a faith-based or secular job, as well as the challenges presented to her own faith in work.  She also talks about faith and media and the way that they interact at SpiritFM.

Abby from the SpiritFM Big Big House Morning Show interviews Heather Finster, an 8th grade student at St. Raphael School in St. Petersburg, and her mother Marybeth.  Heather is the winner of a full-tuition scholarship to a Catholic High School in an Essay Contest sponsored by the Catholic Foundation with the prompt, “Why a Catholic Education is Important to Me and How a Catholic Education Has Made a Difference in My life.”
